Here's a pen straight out of Victorian science fiction and the industrial 19th century. The STEAMPUNK genre has reignited a love of old fashioned materials and is all mixing the old and new, fusing the usability of modern technology with the design aesthetic and philosophy of the Victorian age. The hardware I used is designed around this aesthetic : it combines pan head screws, riveted design patterns, replica Gatling gun barrel a bolt Action mechanism in a Antique Copper and Brass Chrome finish . I am sure this pen will be appreciated .

The pen is made with a genuine true Green Circuit Board cast barrel, embedded in clear Polyester resin. You could actually view the green circuit board and components through the clear casing. The STEAMPUNK Bold Action comes with a brass and copper plated trim. Choose the finish when selecting.

A simple pull of the bolt and your're in action. It uses a parker style refill for smooth dependable writing. It may be refilled with Parker style ink refills. The size is approximately 5 7/8 in.

The construction of these pens begin when I put the blank on my lathe and carefully turned the profiled, by avoiding chipping on the barrel. Each cast blank will vary and look different , since each one is uniquely custom cast and individually turned. They are then polished and finished with micro mesh up to 12000 grits , follow by buffing with Renaissance Wax, a wax that is highly resistant to heat and finger prints and stays crystal clear. Finally comes the assembly to produce an exquisite and elegant pen that will proudly be cherished for many years to come. (NN16-1112-01A)

NOTE------I am sending these pens to the clearance & special section. The batch of blanks had slight air bubbles and miniature cracks in the ends. I only noticed this when I finished polishing and as always , sure hated to let the circuit board blanks go, while making it possible for you to save some money. They are still beautiful and barely noticeable. You will save quite a few dollars and they do make great gifts. Enjoy!
