Handcrafted Magnum Red and Black double-dyed Maple Burl Razor with a Chrome Stand (Mach 3 Compatible) This Razor Set fits the popular MACH3 or Ladies Venus razor head. At your request upon selection, we could change it to a Gillette FUSION head. This set has been turned using carefully using light cuts with turning tools. Just look at the lovely combination of the maple burl and chrome finish and you could see how lovely it looks. The razor has a good stable feel to it. The stand is very sturdy. You can't go wrong with the Chrome finish in this set.
I profiled the set with a light rounded contour and sanded and finished the Beautiful MAPLE BURL handle with the hardware in mind. I then finished by using CA glue Micro-mesh to the grit grade of 12,000 and then finished handle by using a CA finish. I then buffed it and apply a small amount of Microcrystalline wax to protect the finish from water, fingerprints and smears.
The handle measures approximately 5 inches(127mm) and the holder approximately 3 1/4 inches (82.5mm). The set has a very nice appealing visual look to it. I believe you will enjoy it; it will also be an excellent gift or treasure for a Very Good Friend in your Life. Enjoy! (NN26-MACH-0816-1D)
