I milled and profiled this beautiful Lati wood blank into a very distinctive scale for the handle. The manufactured knife blank I used is a Tanto Style made from 6A high carbon stainless steel, . I also used, button head screws to attach the scales after spreading a good amount of epoxy glue on the knife blank, bolsters and scales. The knife measures overall 11 1/2 inches. The Blade length is 6 1/8 x 1 1/2 at its widest point. It is approximately 1/8 thick. The knife has a well balanced weight. It really feels just great in your hands.

I spent a good amount of time profiling, sanding and buffing the scales for this blank . The corian bolsters moved just a little bit when pinning, but it still looks great. To accompany this beautiful knife, I've included a custom hand made,tooled, stamped and sewn 9oz. vegetable tanned top grain Leather Sheath. It has been cased to form fit the knives contour.

Finally, it was then finished with a good top coat that will help preserve the leather. I then buffed the sheath and now you have a very nice looking knife and sheath combo. I hope you will enjoy this beauty.
