This pen was carefully turned out of a Maple and gold and acrylic swirl blank. I picked these colors because they bring out such a beautiful contrast. As you could see,it has beautiful wavy color swirls in the body. The pen has 24KT Gold plating. I took my good old time getting the wood and acrylic to blend with the slenderness of the body of the pen. The combination is very sweet looking. The blends of the two colors are very nice. The pen measures approximately 5 inches. It is very easy to use, just twist and write. It uses Cross style pens, ball point refills, that you could find in Office Depot or Staples. You will be very delighted with these little beauty, as I was while turning it.(N10-8)
